History & Cultural Context Expert (AI Community)

Job description:

Do you have a passion for the past? At TELUS Digital, we need experts with a background in History to help AI understand time, culture, and heritage. AI often gets historical facts mixed up or forgets the cultural importance of events. Your job is to be the "Memory" for the AI, ensuring it discusses history accurately and respectfully.

What You’ll Do (Simple Tasks):

• Fact-Checking: Review AI-generated articles or summaries about historical events to ensure dates, names, and places are 100% correct.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Make sure the AI describes historical figures and events in a way that is respectful to the cultures involved.
• Timeline Logic: Check if the AI understands "cause and effect"—for example, making sure it doesn't say an invention existed before it was actually created.

Content Evaluation: Help the AI write better, clearer historical stories for students and researchers by providing feedback on its reasoning.

Qualification path

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Archaeology, or Cultural Studies.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language is mandatory to understand your country's specific history.

English Proficiency: Basic (B1) English to follow our project instructions.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you’ll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment:

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $18 - $50 USD per hour
